Today was a good day!
Today is the Nacional Sea day in Portugal, so i joined the clean up at Peniche harbour organized by @ocean.patrol. Later on, there was the "oficial opening" of my rhope piece at @docapesca.pt peniche. So, after the clean up we went to the offices and took some serious and less serious pictures with @docapesca.pt representatives and spoke about our concerns and expectations for the future of the ocean and specially for the portuguese coastline.
I am very grateful to be surrounded by these people who inspire and support my work, not only with motivation and lovely words, but also by collecting and sorting the majority of ropes i need for my pieces.
I stand for a more sustainable fishing industry and for more marine protected areas in Portugal.
